On the 10th day of my internship, I went to Taipei Grand Hyatt again for another Hennessy sponsored event. It was mainly a Press Conference to promote the upcoming Hennessy Artistry - The Global Art of Mixing music festival, happening on July 27th in KaoHsiung, Taiwan. I arrived at the venue fairly early, helping out a bit.
People setting up the back board of the stage. The only thing I did was to wipe away any dirt on the board.
My boss Mr. Lee jamming out. I was amused by how they played many hip-hop songs to pump up their set-up process.
People finished setting up the stage. I like the circular light shining on the main logo. It took them so long to adjust it to look good, not too bright with a feathery edge.
While we waited for the press conference to begin, the promotion video played repeatedly on the screens adjacent to the stage. The event looks really fun - the Art of Mixing happens in different major cities in Asia (the video showed Hong Kong, Beijing, Kuala Lumpur etc.) Artists from all over the world are invited to perform. Apparently many parties are involved too.

The focus of the conference - Taiwanese band Soda Green. I'm not familiar with Taiwanese music, but I believe they are quite famous. They will be performing in the upcoming event. It was my first time attending a press conference, so it was cool to see so many reporters.
Since it was a Hennessy event, alcohol was provided. This was my share of a glass of cranberry (or raspberry) whiskey, alcohol:water = 1:10. It was alright.
My internship allows me to go to various events that I won't even think of going or having the chance to attend. I really didn't do much at the conference, but it was fun to observe.
