I apologize for my lack of update, I've become quite busy ever since my internship started.
Day 3 &4:
I learned how to measure a space, as well as drawing ground floor plans. This was a really good practice since I had no sense of space whatsoever. Mr. Lee taught me how to use a measuring tape and a laser tape. I practiced measuring the office and drew my plans.
Most of the proportions are totally off, but at least they look like floor plans.
Besides drawing plans, Mr. Lee also taught me how to use Keynote to create a report for my progress. After I'm done with my measurements and plans, I started researching for the kind of office design that I like. Then, I combined the plans and the images that I found to create a "measurement & office design" report. Here it is, in video form:
It's as big as it can get... not very clear. For those of you who don't understand Chinese - it's fine, the text isn't that important. It's basically descriptions of the images.
Day 5:
Mr. Lee and a designer from the company went to a model agency to talk to a client about an upcoming show at a department store. I went with them and saw how the company negotiates with its client. It was my first time going to a model agency, that was kind of cool.
